Day of Dance
We invite you to join us for NC State’s first Day of Dance! To celebrate our new Dance Minor, we’ve created a free, day-long event that includes classes and performances showcasing the diversity of Dance at NC State. The event is open to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Day/date: Saturday, February 25, 2017
Location: NC State University Dance Studio in Carmichael Gym, 2611 Cates Ave, Raleigh, NC 27695
Time: 9:00am-5:30pm (with optional attendance at an evening performance)
We have reached our maximum capacity at 40 student dancers, so registration is now closed. Please email email@example.com if you would like to be added to our waitlist should any spots become open.
9-9:30am: Check in
9:30-10:45am: Modern Dance with Autumn Mist Belk
11:00am-12:15pm: African Dance with Joy Kagendo
12:15-1:30pm: Lunch on your own*
3:15-4:30pm: Informal performance showcasing the two academic dance companies directed by the Dance Program (the NCSU Dance Company and Panoramic Dance Project) and four student-directed dance clubs (Wolf de Nakhre, Just Cuz Crew, Sube Ritmo, and Dancing with Wolves)
7:00pm: Pre-performance discussion (optional)
8:00pm: Camille A. Brown & Dancers Performance (optional)*

*Students must buy or bring their own lunch (food available for purchase in the Talley Student Center next to Carmichael Gym) and must purchase tickets to attend the Camille A. Brown & Dancers Performance. Day of Dance attendees will be able to buy tickets at a 50% discount; discount code provided after you register for Day of Dance.
