This is Rebecca Gould, NC State sophomore from Triathlon HESF 106. Triathlon is an introductory course; however Rebecca had great success with “Beach to Battleship” Half-Iron Man Race which is a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run. She had done much preparation in summer and fall and finished in 6:26:01. Classmates raced seven triathlons, four half marathon and a few 10K races. Triathlon season ends early November so sights are set on next season. Which choice of HES classes will enhance triathlon and duathlon for 2015?
